Alfa Romeo Sprint


The Alfa Romeo sprint was manufactured by Alfa Romeo Automobiles in between the years 1976-1989. A total of 116,552 units have been manufactured which were sold in Australia, Europe, New Zeeland and South Africa.
Up to 1983, the car was considered as Alfasud Sprint and later it was renamed as Alfa Romeo Sprint. The first models consisted of a 1.2 L Flat-4 engine with a capacity of 1286 cc that delivered an output power of 75 bhp. In the year 1983, a number of modifications have been done which included the plastic bumpers, headlamps, top and grille.


The 1984 models were modified, which consisted of a new drum brakes and a 1.7 Boxer engine with a capacity of 1712 cc that delivered an output power of 114 bhp.
DesignThe 1970 models measured 4.02 meters long with two lamps on the grille. The 1980 models consisted of 14 inch wheels which are covered with Michelin 340 mm tires and plastic side bumpers.
InteriorsThe ignition key is located on the steering wheels left side and some switches for the rear window and rear fog are located at the middle console.

1.7 L Boxer Flat-4 engine:The capacity of this engine is about 1712 cc and delivered an output power of 114 bhp.
