Aston Martin V8


The Aston Martin DB8 was manufactured by the Aston Martin Lagonda in between the years 1969-1989.

The DB8 is a two door saloon and the predecessor of Aston Martin DBS. It consists of 5.3 L V8 engine with a five speed manual transmission.

DBS V8
The DBS V8 was launched in the year 1972 and its production continued up to the year 1972. The body represents the traditional Aston Martin style and it features four headlights, air conditioner, large tyres, wire wheels, ventilated disc brakes and squared grills.

The DBS V8 consists of a 5.3 L V8 engine with a capacity of 5340 cc that delivers an output power of 315 hp. It reaches the speed of 60 mph in 5.9 seconds and the top speed is about 160 mph.

V8
The V8 version was launched in the year 1972 when the DBS V6 was dropped.

Series 2
The V8 was later known as Series 2. A total of 288 cars have been manufactured in between 1972 and 1973. The major differences are mesh grille and dual quartz headlights.

Series 3
The Series 3 was launched in the year 1973 and its production continued up to 1978 where 967 units have been manufactured. The Series 3 consists of a 5.7 L engine with five speed manual and automatic transmission. The engine delivers an output power of 310 hp and it reaches the speed of 60 mph in 6.1 seconds.

Series 4
The series 4 was known as “Oscar India” and it was launched in the year 1978 and its production continued up to 1985 where 352 units have been manufactured. It consists of a three speed automatic transmission and the interiors are made of wood.

Series 5
The Series 5 was launched in the year 1986 and its production continued up to 1989 where 405 units have been manufactured.

Aston Martin DBS


The original Aston Martin DBS was first manufactured by the Aston Martin Lagonda in 1967.

The DBS is the predecessor of Aston Martin DB6. It consists of stylish rear end and front grille and the design features include the steel brightwork and wire wheels. The DBS consists of a powerful 4.0 L DOHC I6 engine that delivers an output power of 283 bhp at 5500 rpm and 390.5 N-m torque at 3850 rpm.

The DBS can also be seen in the James Bond movies “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service”, “Casino Royale” and “Quantum of Solace”.

The new DBS V12
The new DBS V12 was launched in the year 2007 and it was specially built for the James bond movie “Casino Royale”. This car features 13 loud speakers, helmet pod, removable stopwatch, and carbon diffuser at the rear. It consists of a 6.0 L V12 engine that delivers an output power of 510 bhp, 420 lb-ft torque and the top speed is about 191 mph.

Aston Martin V8 Zagato


The Aston Martin V8 Zagato was manufactured by the Aston Martin Lagonda Limited in between the years 1986-1990.

The car was manufactured in both coupe and convertible models. The coupe was displayed in the Geneva Motor Show in the year 1986. A total of 52 coupes and 37 convertibles have been built in between the years 1986-1990.


The body was built at Zagato coachbuilder with a modern design. The Zagato consists of a V8 engine along with dual choke Weber carburetors. The capacity of the engine is 5341 cc and it delivers an output power of 430 hp. The top speed is about 186 mph and the price of the car is about $156,600.
